Book Blog Walkers 21st March

This challenge is organised by Felicia over at the Geeky Blogger's Book Blog.

I am content with my exercise this week.  I count it great that I am still going.

  • Saturday - walk 30 minutes
  • Sunday - walk 30 minutes
  • Monday - rest day
  • Tuesday - walk 30 minutes
  • Wednesday - walk 30 minutes
  • Thursday - gardening - veggie garden needs digging over and sowing of oats, lupin and mustard.  Still more to go, might replace one day a week of walking with gardening!
  • Friday - walk for 30 minutes.
It did cool down a few days, and that helped enormously.  We had one very hot and muggy day when we were top temperature in the country, I went walking about 9am and wondered why it was so hot!  30 degrees Centigrade I know isn't hot to the Aussie bloggers, but to me that is as hot as I tolerate!!

  1. I love Lupin flowers!!! There are fields of lupin up in New Hampshire by where my dad lives - so pretty when they are blooming!

I love that there are still so many of us in our little group - it's like we have our own set of cheerleaders!!! We're finally getting some spring-like temps here in the USA, but then we're supposed to get cold temps again next week. I wish it would just stay warm - I really want to be able to walk outside. Luckily, the day of the marathon, the weather was perfect - not too cold, not too hot!

Have a great week and keep on walking!!!

    1. Great to know you got good weather for the marathon. Yeah lupin flowers are quite pretty, especially when they are purple which I love!

  2. Well done, what a great week you had. Gardening is an all-round the workout so adding that to the mix now that the weather is cooling down sounds like a good plan.

  3. PS do you harvest the mustard ... as in mustard seeds? I have a good little herb garden going but have never grown mustard.

    1. Ha! No the mustard, lupin and first time planting in some oats because they came in packet - I dig it all into the garden in the Spring - meant to be good for the soil so I am led to believe. However I am sure you could grow mustard to eat, but never thought of that!
