It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Well I have had a great week of holiday! Very tempting to make that a full time occupation!

In the last week I read:
Once in a Lifetime book cover by Jill Shalvis
Once in a Lifetime
No review. 3 stars

February or Forever

Harvest. Tess Gerritsen

Half Moon Harbor. Donna Kauffman

When Beauty Tamed the Beast. Eloisa James
When Beauty Tamed the Beast
Review to come.

At present I am reading:
Then and Always by Dani Atkins

Up next:
Texas Blue by Jodi Thomas
Fatal Jeopardy by Marie Force

Reading around the blogs:
I had more time to read some blog posts this past week, a couple of them caught my eye and made me think about 1) organising my ebooks and 2) commenting.

Laurel Rain Snow post on organising those ebooks.  Motivated by this post I have begun to organise my Kindle so that I can see what I haven't read.  About 145 TBR books, oh dear!  I wonder how many dollars that is! Although I am sure some were freebies!

The other post was by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Review on Comments, Replies and Socializing. I found it very thought provoking.  She has just had a new design for her blog too. Very nice!

  1. I love Eloisa James' books. I mostly listen to them on audio. Laurel got me thinking about organizing my books too. Have a great week.

    1. Nise I wanted to listen to this one on audio, but couldn't get it in my area! It is so annoying because the audio got very good reviews.

  3. Have fun reading this week! I've never been too into ebooks until this last year so I haven't had time to accumulate a bunch. Thankfully at this point I've limited my broke college self to only freebies. :)

  4. Holidays are always over way too soon, glad you had a nice break. I love my kindle fire but I do miss the 'collections' feature and I refuse to buy an app that has 'issues' lol. I use the carousel option on the fire to organise my next reads but it does need a tidy up.
Have a good week and happy reading :)

    1. Hmm I don't have the Fire and probably won't ever get one. When my present one conks out I will most likely get a paperwhite. In spite of dropping it today it is still going and may last me for years to come yet!

  6. Great week! I'm a fan of Jill Shalvis when I need a light read. I keep all my books on LibraryThing and have a Kindle tag. It is easy to see what I have on my Kindle. I have collections on my Kindle to by genre. When I want to read something I can check LibraryThing or just browse a collection. According to LibraryThing I have 1096 unread Kindle books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Yes I can see that would help. Whatever one does, long as it works for them, its good. Wow 1096, now feeling very good about my much smaller amount!

Your books look enticing...I'm curious about February or Forever.

Enjoy your week...and thanks for visiting my blog.

  8. February or Forever and Half Moon Harbor both look good! I will have to read them. :) I am also going to pop over to read the two posts that you linked here - I definitely need help with organization. :)

    1. I had to look further afield about how to do it, but once started it has been fairly simple.

  9. If you want to try more medical thrillers, the Rizzoli & Isles series by Tess Gerritsen is really good.

  14. I enjoy Jill Shalvis for a light romance and I generally like beauty and the beast stories. I'll be interested in your review of the Eloisa James book. I have a lot of Kindle books but I don't keep them on my kindle - I download as desired. I'll have to check out Laurel's thoughts on organizing.
Have a good week. Happy Reading.
