  12. Happy New Year Kathryn!!! I love your video...kudos to you for doing that! Your book choice sounds amazing and I will definitely be adding it to my list...and your first audio is an absolute favorite of mine! I love, love, love the Anne of Greene Gables series and have listened to the first few books on audio recently, too. I think my first audio is going to be Lucinda Riley's newest book, The Shadow Sister, the latest in her Seven Sisters series. It's not out in print in the US yet, but I can get the audio via Audible and I've been listening to the series anyway.

Enjoy your first books and happy reading!!!

  16. I love your video! Your accent is just lovely and I love your choices. I'd really love to read more historical fiction this year and I've been wanting to do the audio book for Anne of Green Gables. It's one of my favorite stories and I imagine it'd be wonderful in audio. Happy New Year!

  20. Ah, someone is getting creative here-- loved it! Great job, and it helps that you're reading something I want to read 😊

But wait... if you don't pick up the pace with your reading, looks like your TBR pile on top of the bookcase will topple over!

    1. You made me laugh out loud. I know! Some of them fell in an earthquake we had a month or so back!! I think I'll just build a new bookcase and keep on with a slow pace!!

  21. Kathryn- What a great job on your "podcast" (is that what it's called)? Well Done! Sounds like a good book too.
I'm with you - I always have an audio book going but I didn't really plan a first one for 2017. I have a copy of Anne of Green Gables on the shelf next to me - bought while I was in Halifax a couple of years back. I think I may have it on audio too. I should listen/read as it has been years.
Hope you really enjoy your first books and have a grand 2017!
