Full House Review Link Ups 2016

Full House Challenge Badge

  • Add your reviews  here on the link in this post. At the end of March there will be a U.S. $12 prize with a book of your choice from the Book Depository or U.S. Amazon voucher, for the entries. There will be a new linky then for the next quarter and so on to the end of December.
  • Reviews are not mandatory and if you prefer to keep a list of the books read and the category they cross off the card, then you can then enter for the completion of a Full House by linking to that list on the final linky or in a comment. Final linky will be up later in the year.
On the linky if you could put the category rather than the name of the book that would help us to know if we read your review which box it crosses off.  You can then upload a picture of the book and we'll know what book it is.

The Title of the Post will most likely automatically fill in, but you'll be able to overwrite it. You have about 50 spaces.   This may have been a good idea, but looks like the link won't may let us do it!!

  1. Hello! I just linked up my first review for the challenge. I tried to override the category on the title of the link but I noticed after I submitted it that I guess it reverted back to the actual title of what I had on my blog. I linked up "Immurement" by Norma Hinkens and this covers the "Debut Novel" category. Thank you!

  2. I was able to rewrite the title, but I may have just gotten lucky! :)

  3. I liked up a few review. Is this the way you want them headed?

  4. I added the links to my first two books, they are brief reviews from Goodreads. I don't write long reviews, just personal thoughts to help me remember the book (and what I liked about it). I hope it's ok?

  5. I just linked up my second (Pale Highway) and I was able to overwrite it to put the category this time! Yay!

  6. I made a mistake when linking my 8th book, I can't find a way to amend it. The link points to the general GR page rather than to my review, which is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1302758483.

    1. I'll sort it for you, yes I'd noticed earlier that it didn't link to right place when I clicked on link. I usually make these link ups where each person can edit their link up so going to check up why it's not so for this link up. But in meantime will change it for you.

    2. I'm sorry Kathryn, I did it again, this time the link is fine but the title should be the task name: Way out of comfort zone.
It strange about the link-up behaviour, I'm sure there used to be a wastebasket next to one's books so that one could delete it and re-post is if needed, but now is no longer possible.

    3. Don't worry about it. Yes I don't know why the rubbish bin is no longer showing, I have the box ticked for it to show but doesn't seem to be working. You really are doing so well, if it goes wrong just don't worry about it, I can add the title for you and will do anytime it doesn't work for you, especially as the linky is somewhat wonky!!

  7. Hi Kathryn, I was wondering if you could tell me what the requirements for the "Self Challenge" were?

    1. Claudia this is where you make your own read of a book that would be a challenge of your own making. For me, it might be a book by a male because I hardly ever read them, or it might be a non fiction book or whatever, it is one you set yourself.

  9. I've read a bunch, but because I'm posting mini-reviews at the moment they're all clustered into two posts. Because of that I've only been able to enter two of them into the linky - but if anyone (host included) is interested I've linked them ALL up from my main challenge post here:

    1. Ellie I know sometimes mini reviews are the way to go, its unfortunate you only get two links. I guess there are ways around it, link to the same post with a different title would be one way to get more chances. Or just let it be.

  10. Hi,
I've done 2 reviews in one and I can't link the second book. The book I can't link is The Girl Who Fell From The Sky - Heidi Durrow(No. 15). Just wanted to let you know. Have a great day!

    1. Sherrie the vicissitudes of the link software is my guess! You could put in the link from say Goodreads if you want - gives you another chance in the draw!!
