Top Books for May
I had some great reads this month as well as some okay ones. Here are a few that I really loved.
The Opposite of Everyone is here because the audiobook narrated by the author was tops.
What Books I am Looking Forward to in June?
Well these for sure!
The new one out in June of the Psy-Changeling series.

And I'll be buying this one on audio when it publishes on the 21st. with one of my June credits. Love the Ten Beach Road series.
Incoming Books.
I know most people share their incoming books weekly but for me, once a month is enough and quite frankly even this many scares me!!

I need to read more Sarah Morgan! I have Sleepless in Manhattan on my Kindle. I am so glad you loved Christmas, Ever After!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great month of reading!!
Oh yes Brandie she is more and more gaining a place in my heart and on my bookshelf, and I am so looking forward to Sleepless.
DeleteSo many of those titles I'd like to read! You did awesome though! Happy June!
ReplyDeleteThanks Freda, so many great books these days.
DeleteSo many great books here! I loved The Secret Life of Violet Grant and The Opposite of Everyone, which made my beach read listing. I just saw a review for When We Were Sisters, and that book looks amazing. It's one I want to add to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteOh goody to seeing the review for WWWS. It's publication day is today. My review is ready to go!
DeleteI like seeing the formats of the books you read (or listened to) and the genres read. Interesting! And very well-rounded. :)
ReplyDeleteI try to be a little rounded Lisa, sometimes I get stuck in one genre!!
DeleteSuch great books...although "Must Love Wieners" totally makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI know, I am a little nervous of it. We'll see!
DeleteIt sounds like May was a good reading month - I hope that continues in to June. Discovering new to you authors is always fun... More so if you go on to read more of their books.
ReplyDeleteA great haul of incoming books - no shortage of reading material, that's for sure!!
Reading With Jade
Yes Jade, as I was listing them this month I thought I should really challenge myself to read more from the authors I adore - life is short!
DeleteA good reading month :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed it was, and hopefully this one too.
DeleteIsn't Joshilyn Jackson fantastic reading her books? I love her books on audio! I really liked both The Secret Life of Violet Grant and Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, hope you like them. I've got Last Ride to Graceland in my "on deck" circle for the next month, as well as snagging a copy of the new Wendy Wax (I also love the Beach Road series).
ReplyDeleteYes so I must listen to her read some more of her books! After listening to her I am hooked for that version of the book. And Beach Road series - yummy!
DeleteIts hard to believe that it is June already! I've got to get my wrap up written. You've got some really great upcoming reads. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteNise the year is going far too fast. I am looking forward to some of the ones in June though.
DeleteI can't wait to read the new Wendy Wax book...and I'm thinking I need to read Sarah Morgan. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSarah Morgan writes delightful contemp romance. She just sparks enjoyment when I read her!
DeleteYou had a great month, Kathryn!!! I loved The Secret Life of Violet Grant...I can't wait to hear what you think! I have The Opposite of Everyone and One True Loves on my tbr piles for June. And I really need to get back to reading Sarah Morgan...I started one of her series and need to finish it! Hope you have a great reading month in June!!!
ReplyDeleteYes Sarah Morgan is such a good romance writer. I am looking forward to The Secret of Violet Grant, I suspect I'll enjoy it!
DeleteGreat selections here. I'm looking forward to The Opposite of EveryOne and When We Were Sisters. Have a great month Kathryn.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy both Pat and that you really enjoy those audiobooks.
DeleteI love the sound of The Opposite of Everyone and it's added to my list! Here's to a good reading month for June.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma, I loved that book particularly on audio, when done well it adds so much more to a book.
Deletewow nice line up! How does it feel to read a Christmas book in Spring?
ReplyDeleteSo Emma for me it was early winter so it really did work. Although I'd read this story any time of year!
DeleteYou read so many new-to-you authors. I'm kind of jealous. I really need to branch out a little more and see what else is out there. I'm not sure I could read a Christmas themed book during May, it would make me long for December far too early in the year. Hope your June is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI know Alicia but where I live we are just going into winter so it is rather nice to read a winter story, our hot summer takes some of that winter Christmas magic away!
DeleteI am glad that you had a good month. I find it hard to get through print books these days. It is interesting how many new authors we can read. I have to find balance and time to read the series and authors I love too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your winter stories as we are ready our summer beach stories!
Great lineup, Kathryn! sporadic internet for me, so a bit late with posting, but did get it up afterall and hapPy for that ;)
ReplyDeleteHoping you EnJoy June...
