This year I went for My Precious - 30+ and naming 33 as the ideal. I am not sure if I am going to get there but will keep on and see where I arrive. Methinks I had better look for shorter audiobooks for awhile. However I am looking at 15 out of 33 by the end of June so that is pretty much on track.
First Quarter
9. Don't Let Me Go Susan Lewis 16hrs 5 min Narrated by Julia Franklin
Second Quarter
13 Only a Promise Mary Balogh 11hrs 14 min Narrated by Rosalyn Landor
14. The Seven Sisters Lucinda Riley. Narrated by Emily Lucienne
15. While I buy most of my books from Audible with the two credit a month plan I did get the following on CD from the Library and listened that way.
A 5 star for both story and narration. Narrated by Brittany Pressley.
16.
Tempting Fate Nora Roberts Narrated by Angela Dawe.
3 stars for story and 4 stars for the narration. I enjoy the MacGregor series and just wanted to re visit it when I have the space!
So many great audios this year! I really want to reread or listen to The Wedding Ring. I loved it but it's been too long since I've read it. That's too bad about the narrator for The Seven Sisters. I think I'll go with the print version. I keep hoping my library will get the audio version of A Year of Yes. It sounds like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, it takes me a month or so to get through an audio; I mostly only listen while driving. And I'm worried about summer vacation, since the school commute won't happen. I'm listening to Flight Behavior which is read by the author.
ReplyDeleteYou are very successful with this challenge! I admire your ability to listen to your books; I just can't get into audio, my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI've read and enjoyed Anna Quindlen's books and I have this on my Kindle, waiting for the mood to hit. I also want to try Falling Home, looks good.
Wishing you much luck with meeting all your challenge goals :)
I want to listen to the Anne Bishop series! You will complete this challenge I'm sure. I did not enter the challenge, but think I am behind on my yearly goal.
