    1. Thanks Jodie, I only reviewed a couple of these this month which helps because it gives more time for reading.

  2. Wow! Sounds like you had a great month! Congratulations on meeting your challenges. I am curious about Chamberlain's new book and it will probably be one of my recommendations to my book club, when it is my turn to select a book. It is hard to believe we are almost into October! Have a great month Kathryn!

    1. Everyone I've seen has great things to say about Chamberlain's new book Pat. She has a way with spinning a good story.

  9. Pretending to Dance has such a beautiful cover, I'm so intrigued. I see you picked up a Christmas book, is it already that time of year? I have to wait until after Halloween to get into the Christmas spirit. Congrats on finishing your Goodreads challenge, hope your October turns out to be wonderful!

  12. It's always nice to step away from the mundane life and breath in a bit of fresh air, I'm hoping my family and I get to venture on a road trip soon :) Also, congrats on meeting your Goodreads and NetGalley reading goals! I recently met my Goodreads goal, but still need to meet the mark for NetGalley :P

Hoping you have a fabulous October Kathryn :)

  13. Another great reading month for you! I haven't requested a book from NetGalley in a while! I've slowed way down on reviewing, it's been a nice break. I have a move coming up and then the holidays so I'll probably wait until the new year. :)

Thanks for hosting! I hope you have a wonderful October!

  14. So, in September I read two of the In Death books that make reference to the Icove case in Origin in Death. I actually had to go back and skim through Origin in Death to remind myself what it was all about.

I had to laugh when I saw your "Places I Read" category. Each Sunday in my weekly review I state where *I* have been, so it took me a few moments to realize that your category refers to the places where the books you've been reading took place.

Thanks for hosting the monthly summary. I enjoy following other bloggers to see what they've been reading and writing about.
