Top Book for August
Looking Forward to coming out in September
I don't have any particular huge looking forward to for the books I am reading in September but coming out in late September, this book I will most likely get to read at the end of the month - the latest Guild Hunter's book.
Incoming Books during August.
I have lots of friends who love Jan Karon's books but I have yet to read any of hers yet. I didn't get as much read in August but hope to read more next month! I just finished Light Between the Oceans and am almost finished with The Tiger's Wife.
ReplyDeleteI also loved your top pick book Kathryn. Fun filled, packed solid month for you. Here's to a fantastic September!!
ReplyDeleteI am curious about Keep You Safe...and I love Cathy Lamb's books...but haven't read one in a while. I'll find a way to change that!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy September!!
A great month for you! Haven't read any of them myself. Happy September!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe AUg is over!
ReplyDeleteI am a massive Jan Karon fan. Just got the Galley for the latest. She is one I get used copies of for my bookshelf. And I just DVRed the Hallmark movie, but haven't watched it yet
ReplyDeleteI've read a couple of the Karon series - nice, quiet books but I never got back to them. I'll have to watch the Hallmark film.
ReplyDeleteAmazing stats as always. Like the look of the Melissa Hill and the cover of Angels Viper.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a good reading month! I have both the Eva Woods and Robyn Carr books in the September stack and am looking forward to reading them, as well as the Marybeth Whalen book. Hope you have a great September!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of great books you've read this month! Great reading month you had!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn,
ReplyDeleteGreat month. I'll have to check out several of your books.
Have a great day!
This is my first time participating. I see you had a great month in reading.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great reading month! A lot of these are authors I haven't read that are on my list. I do have a Jan Karon coming up and really need to read Cathy Lamb. I've heard raves about her books!
ReplyDeleteCathy Lamb books are alright, but I see their message as a bit too "good vs evil" Christianity for me
DeleteI enjoyed the first Mitford books but I just finished the latest, which will probably be my last.
ReplyDeleteI LITERALLY had At Home in Mitford fall at my feet off the shelf at Joseph Beth Bookseller 20 years ago in OH, and Karon is one of my "buy a used one for the bookshelf" author. I love Father Tim's world. I taped the Hallmark film but haven't watched it yet, and just got the Galley of the new one
DeleteI had a fairly good reading month although I didn't finish my "summer Russian Classic " in time for it to be counted in the summer Big Book group- got about half of Doctor Zhivago read and really will finish it. I read 15 books:2 paper, 13 eBooks and 2 for Mt. TBR.
ReplyDeleteI also reset my 2017 GoodReads goal, moving it *down* to 200.
I'm finally getting blog visits in. Woo! So a mini comment bombing tonight. lol Love Andrews and have really enjoyed Carr. I need to get that Ward one in. Looks like August was a good one for ya :)
ReplyDeleteAlways impressed by how many books you read in a month! Looks like a nice variety in August.
