It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

badge

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit – join them!

I had a good week, hope you did too. I made my fitness steps for Fitreaders of 55 000 steps. One day I was halfway into my walk to remember I had changed clothes and was not wearing my fitbit. Fitbit fans I think will understand my momentary annoyance!

  1. Yes, I know that frustration of realizing the Fitbit is not on the wrist! I've read a couple of Marie Force books on your recommendation and need to get back to her. Have a great week.

  2. Great job on your steps this week! I have a Fitbit One so I totally understand your annoyance. I am hoping to upgrade to either the Charge HR or the Blaze so that won't be a problem anymore!

I haven't read any of the books on your list this week. Will have to look them up on Goodreads.

Hope you have a great week!

    1. Hmm they are versions that I don't know, sounds like they are fool proof - which would be good!

  4. Yay for nailing your step goal and yep I'm giggling and nodding at your 'forgotten fitbit' annoyance. I sometimes forget to put it back on after swimming, grrr.

Hearth Song has such a pretty cover, I don't even know what it's about and I want to read it. Enjoyed your reviews last week. Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)

    1. Cover is great, I fell for it, book was just okay, felt it didn't suit the book after I'd read it.

  5. Great stepping. I understand the annoyance. I am still trying to figure out a charging schedule that doesn't miss too much. :-)
I like several of your books, especially JD Robb of course.
I'll be interested in your thoughts on Magic Bites.
    Happy Reading!

  6. Well done on the exercise front and it sounds like everything's going well.

My mother and I had a conversation at Christmas about fitbits etc and she offered to buy me one or a pedometer etc... but we wondered if it might depress me to see how LITTLE exercise I do!!!

  15. I definitely understand your annoyance at not having your Fitbit on. It's happened to me a time or two and I get so mad at myself. You're doing great though.

I have a few Marie Force books on my Kindle but I haven't read them yet. They look good.

  17. You've had a great reading week. Your post reminds me that I have to get back into regular exercising. You have me all curious about Fitbit. I have no idea what that is.

  18. That's one of the reasons I've been hesitant to get a Fitbit... I don't know if I'd remember to wear it all the time.

I hope you have another great reading week!

  19. Happy Monday! The Marie Force book looks good. I still need to read a book by her. She's been on my TBR list forever.

I know how you feel - when I've forgotten to put on my Fitbit or the battery dies - NOOOO. I get so upset! Great job meeting your steps! I have been slacking off and am ready to get back to it this week.
