It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
I had a good week, hope you did too. I made my fitness steps for Fitreaders of 55 000 steps. One day I was halfway into my walk to remember I had changed clothes and was not wearing my fitbit. Fitbit fans I think will understand my momentary annoyance!

Yes, I know that frustration of realizing the Fitbit is not on the wrist! I've read a couple of Marie Force books on your recommendation and need to get back to her. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThis one a little hot for me, but I enjoy the family!!
DeleteGreat job on your steps this week! I have a Fitbit One so I totally understand your annoyance. I am hoping to upgrade to either the Charge HR or the Blaze so that won't be a problem anymore!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books on your list this week. Will have to look them up on Goodreads.
Hope you have a great week!
Hmm they are versions that I don't know, sounds like they are fool proof - which would be good!
DeleteI loved Falling Home....and I do want to read more of the J. D. Robb series...I am way behind.
ReplyDeleteHearth Song looks yummy!
Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful week.
Yes want to go read more of Karen White's books now!
DeleteYay for nailing your step goal and yep I'm giggling and nodding at your 'forgotten fitbit' annoyance. I sometimes forget to put it back on after swimming, grrr.
ReplyDeleteHearth Song has such a pretty cover, I don't even know what it's about and I want to read it. Enjoyed your reviews last week. Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)
Cover is great, I fell for it, book was just okay, felt it didn't suit the book after I'd read it.
DeleteGreat stepping. I understand the annoyance. I am still trying to figure out a charging schedule that doesn't miss too much. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like several of your books, especially JD Robb of course.
I'll be interested in your thoughts on Magic Bites.
Happy Reading!
Not head over heels in love with Magic Bites but first book is always a 'getting into it'
DeleteWell done on the exercise front and it sounds like everything's going well.
ReplyDeleteMy mother and I had a conversation at Christmas about fitbits etc and she offered to buy me one or a pedometer etc... but we wondered if it might depress me to see how LITTLE exercise I do!!!
Deborah you always make me laugh! No it won't come on, you can do it! Maybe one for her too?!!
DeleteHappy Sunday/ Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend. That's funny about the Fitbit- don't you hate it when something like that happens?

ReplyDeleteI hate when I try to edit a comment and end up deleting it! I was trying to say the J.D. Robbs book looks good and I hope you loved it!
ReplyDeleteI know Julie, commenting can be quite a challenge at times!
DeleteLooks like you had a great reading week. Kate White is an author I want to try. Did you enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteThese books look great, especially Stranger in Death.
ReplyDeleteWell, I use an UP3 by Jawbone (versus a Fitbit) and I can totally understand your annoyance! I left my at home one day, on its charger, and it nearly killed me - ha! Thanks so much for hosting the link up; hope you have a great start to the week, Kathryn!
ReplyDeleteLove Ilona Andrews ...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week,
Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
I definitely understand your annoyance at not having your Fitbit on. It's happened to me a time or two and I get so mad at myself. You're doing great though.
ReplyDeleteI have a few Marie Force books on my Kindle but I haven't read them yet. They look good.
Have a great week!
I cant get my Fitbit to work at all for some reason. Am so annoyed.
ReplyDeleteYou've had a great reading week. Your post reminds me that I have to get back into regular exercising. You have me all curious about Fitbit. I have no idea what that is.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the reasons I've been hesitant to get a Fitbit... I don't know if I'd remember to wear it all the time.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have another great reading week!
Reading With Jade
Happy Monday! The Marie Force book looks good. I still need to read a book by her. She's been on my TBR list forever.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel - when I've forgotten to put on my Fitbit or the battery dies - NOOOO. I get so upset! Great job meeting your steps! I have been slacking off and am ready to get back to it this week.
OOh I always look forward to your Monday week outlook Kathryn. Right now I'm just starting my April '16 reviews, I'm listening to The Wilds by Donna Augustine and tonight is my in-person book club and we read, The Invisible Girls by Sarah Thebarge
ReplyDeleteHave a great Week!
Looks like you are reading a nice variety this week, as usual! I haven;t read any of these authors before - I always learn about new books when I visit your blog.
