Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Last week was a very busy week for me, I hardly touched home base as we finished up the school term, and we were swamped with end of year graduation and retirement events for some staff. I was quite happy to say good-bye to my students and eye up gleefully the summer weeks to come.
In the past week I read:
I thoroughly enjoyed The Good Daughter and it won't be long before I read the third book. Does anyone know if Jane Porter intends writing a fourth book in this series?
At present I am reading:
I am reading this as part of a TBR challenge. It has been on my Kindle for ages. November 22, 2011 to be exact! It was free at the time, I see it is now $7.99.
I am still listening to 16 Lighthouse Road by Debbie Macomber. Should finish that in the coming week.
What is up next?
First up is Detained by Ainslie Paton then I think I will read Sand Castle Bay by Sherryl Woods and then Informed Risk by Robyn Carr. After that I will pick one off the kindle I guess. I like to mix up ebooks and paperbacks. I can't read one ebook after the other.
The Jane Porter book does look good.
ReplyDeleteIt was. I can thank reading blogs for this series. Never would have found it by myself.
DeleteMust feel so good, wrapping up the school year, with Christmas and summer holidays to look forward to! I haven't read any of the books you mention, but they sound good! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo holiday time! Enjoy your lovely reads, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Detained, that one caught my eye in the giveaway. Jane Porter's Brennan Sisters series is on my TBR stack. Have a great week and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy reading! Twas the Night looks like a great holiday read.
ReplyDeleteTake a look at what I'm reading this week.
Like you I've been horribly busy :)

I have read all three of the Porter books...and I don't know if she is writing a fourth one, but I hope so! There are four daughters, after all! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
I will need to check out the Good Daughter! Looks great!

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
I'm the same way! I like to alternate reading ebooks and reading paper books. I also try to go between my books and library books...at least until all of the library books come in at once!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
