Its Monday! What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

So the first week back at work successfully negotiated!  I have 29 students in my class this year, and of course the first priority is to establish reading in my classroom!  The week was very much helped with Thursday being Waitangi Day - our national holiday where we celebrate the signing of the Treaty with local maori people in 1840 - and while all differences are not yet totally solved we have gone a long way down the road to being one people in our wonderful country.  And the weather was great!

So this week I read:
                          Lost Lake.  So goooooood!
Archangel's Storm
#5 Guild Hunter - I am finally hooked into this series.
At present I am reading:
Evening Stars by Susan Mallery #3 in her Blackberry Island trilogy. At this stage I am unsure of whether I like this one as much as the previous two which had my expectations very high for this one.

Up next:
I Do, I Do, I Do by Maggie Osborne.  A new to me author, a historical western romance.  Thought I would give her a whirl as have heard good things.  So off my TBR shelf it will come.

  2. I'm totally with you on Lost Lake and Evening Stars ... Lost Lake was delightful and I thought Evening Stars was disappointing after the awesomeness of Three Sisters. Glad your first week back at work was good and yay for great weather on Waitangi Day.
Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)
