Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Another busy week. I managed 5 days of exercise for the #Bookblogwalkers challenge. I think I need to be realistic now that I am back full time teaching to aim for 5 days and anything else is a bonus.
I have had a good reading week, I had a DNF with one book, just had to admit it wasn't really what I wanted and decided to pull it, and pick up something better for me.
It was great to hear that the Outlander TV series will show in 2014 in Australia, by Foxtel SoHo channel. Now all I need is for Sky or any channel to pick it up for New Zealand. Obviously this time Australian TV reps are better advised than the 'behind the times people' that run NZ TV.
This past week:
Pleasant read. Third in Blackberry Island trilogy.
The Husband's Secret. Excellent audiobook.
#4 in her Thunder Point series. Loved it.
At present I am reading:
The Wedding Bees by Sarah-Kate Lynch.
Carolina Girl by Virginia Kantra - audiobook
Up next:
All For You by Jessica Scott
I am so impressed, you're doing really well being back at work and keeping up with the exercise! So glad you loved the audio of The Husband's Secret!
ReplyDeleteSo excited that Soho will show Outlander, just hope it's not delayed viewing for us. Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)
From what I read on Facebook, SoHo will show it in 2014 in Australia. I've joined a couple of groups to agitate our local TV too.
DeleteI loved The Husband's Secret, too...and I'm now curious about Susan Mallery's books, which I have yet to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog...enjoy your week.
I had a DNF this week too and spent far too much time trying to push myself through it til I finally gave up. I hope you get to see Outlander sooner rather than later!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the Outlander series!
ReplyDeleteThe Blackberry Island series sounds good! I will have to check it out; it sounds great for summer.
I've read the first Blackberry Island book and really need to catch up on that series. Good luck with the walking and working. Come see my Monday report if you get a chance. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGood work on the exercising! It's been so long since I read Susan Mallery and Robyn Carr's books. I love them and really need to catch up. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping we can get the channel that is featuring Outlander. I've seen a couple of teasers and am looking forward to it. Evening Stars is on my TBR list. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThe Chance sounds interesting! Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteCheck out what we are reading this week.
