Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
I seem to be reading a little slower these days. About two books a week, generally. Busy at work and catching up on a little TV, my recorder is almost full, so I need to catch up on some series that I have recorded. I do love skipping advertisements!
This week I read:
Four Friends. Loved it.
Review 8th April.
Just Destiny. Loved it. Thought provoking.
Q&A with author and giveaway on 14th April
At present I am reading:
One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost.
This is a library book, trying to catch up on a few in between ebooks. I am not sure about you but I know I just have to read an actual book in the hand every so often.
Up next:
Floored - Ainslie Paton
Iron Junction - Charlotte Nash
All I Ever Wanted. Kristan Higgans
I've found for me that I'll have sudden spurts of reading and then lapses of not reading. Reading can be like that sometimes. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week of reading! :)

I love watching DVR'd shows. Skipping commercials is awesome. I have been reading like a maniac, but figure when my grandson is born, it will slow way down. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand commercials. I don't have DVR (I know, stone age) but I need to get it. I know once I do I will be totally spoiled. :) Have a good reading week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you loved FOUR FRIENDS! I'm reading it this week. I'm a big Robyn fangirl. =)
ReplyDeleteMy post is HERE. Happy reading!
Love recording and skipping the ads, doesn't it save so much time!! I only get through 2 books per week, I used to read a lot faster, not sure why I slowed down, too much other stuff on I guess. Looking forward to your review of Four Friends, I think I'd like it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading :)
Like the sound of One Foot in the Grave!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo books a week - oh I wish my reading pace was that quick of late!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!

Bits & Bobs

Both books look good...I am adding them to my list. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThese are new to me but happy reading!
ReplyDeleteCheck out what we are reading this week.
Leydy @OUaT & RCE
I'm reading my first Robyn Carr this week and enjoying it so far. I don't watch much TV beyond The Voice and baseball games. I really don't know how I fit it in if I started getting addicted to TV series. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYes, I don't believe real books will ever go out of style.
