Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Happy Easter break to everyone. It is so nice to pause in the year and be for awhile. And time to read!
This past week I read:
All I Ever Wanted. No review but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Finally finished listening to 11.22. 63
At present I am reading:
Once in a Lifetime by Jill Shalvis
Carolina Man by Virginia Kantra -audiobook. Third in a trilogy
An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon - will reread this before June 5th when #8 in the series is published - I need to refresh my brain!
Up Next:
February Forever by Juliet Madison
Harvest by Tess Gerritsen
Hope this is a great reading week for you!
ReplyDeleteHere is my It's Monday!
I just read Once in a Lifetime. I have only read two books in the Lucky Harbor series but I plan to read more. I need to get caught up on the Outlander series too. I am excited about the TV show though I don't get STARZ. It is enough to make me reconsider cable :)
ReplyDeleteMe too on Echo in the Bone ... determined to squeeze it in lol. I love Tess Gerritsen's early novels, The Surgeon, Harvest and February or Forever is a sweet read. Enjoy the holiday break and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the Galbadon series, one if the few I think LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Great books! The Collector is on my wish list and I have a copy of the Stephen King novel that I've been trying to get to for the longest time. I may have to try the audio instead at this point.

I've been seeing Diana Galbadon everywhere! I think this is telling me I need to get going on her books :). Also looking forward to seeing what you think about the King novel! I love listening to his books on audio, but sometimes the narrators aren't the best. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed 11/22/63...and got The Collector this week. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI need to try Tess Gerritsen again. I loved book 1 and 'hated' book 2, it shocked me and now I think I am put off but really should give her a go again. Enjoy your books. The Collector looks good.
ReplyDelete11.22.63 is the first Stephen King I've read in years and enjoyed. Looks like you had a great week. You can check out my week here http://www.kyliesreads.blogspot.com.au/2014/04/its-monday-what-are-you-reading_21.html
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books. I can't read Stephen King. :)

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
Neither would I! However this is not one of his horror books - quite different.
DeleteGuess I should get started on rereading Echo too! I would love to listen, but would not get it finished before the next book comes out. Looking forward to The Collector. Have a great week.

DeleteExactly. I even have the audio version as well, thought about it and like you knew I just wouldn't fit it in! The book will be challenge enough - but will speed read parts of it to get it completed by June.
I don't usually re-read to prepare for a new book in a series but I do look over the past reviews to refresh my mind. :-) I think I am one or two behind in the Outlander series.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Jill Shalvis and hope you enjoy Once in a Lifetime. Have a good week.
