It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's all been a rather ordinary week - that's good right!  I did celebrate a milestone birthday that went over three days at least!  Eyes on retirement at the end of the year now!

What I read during the week:
Another in her Blueberry Cove series.

Beginning of new series.
Way too hot for my taste.

What I am reading at present.
Keeper of the Light by Diane Chamberlain
Keeper of the Light is the first book I have ever read by this author, I picked this book up from a book fair last year, after noticing many bloggers seem to enjoy her writing.  Halfway through and know I will want to read more of her books.

Up Next:
Country at Heart by Mandy Magro
(first time reading this author too)

The Biscuit Witch by Deborah Smith

  1. Happy Belated Birthday Kathryn ... hope it was wonderful! I really like Diane Chamberlain, haven't read Keeper of the Light so I'm keen to see what you think. My fave of hers so far is The Midwife's Confession and I got her new one on NetGalley ... The Silent Sister.
I've got a friend who likes super hot, she'd probably like the new Nalini Singh.
Have a good week and happy reading :)

    1. I will be very keen to read more Diane Chamberlain so will check out the ones you mention. Your friend would like Nalini Singh one then, I liked it except for the heat!

  2. Wonderful author Diane Chamberlain. Just read one of her books only. So many to check out on.

    1. Yes, indeed, so many to read. However will be following up on a few more from this author.

  3. Happy Birthday Kathryn, you kept that quiet!
    Have a great week!

  4. Happy Birthday! You must be excited being so close to retirement! I am not familiar with Chamberliain, but will look forward to your review. The Biscuit Witch sounds good too.

  5. Happy Birthday to you! Enjoy Chamberlain's book, they are usually great reads. LOL I chuckled over your comment re Nalini's book, I am listening to one that is a bit too much for my taste. Have a great week.

  6. Sandpiper Island sounds so good! I will have to check it out. :)

  7. Keeper of the Light sounds really good. I have been wanting to try Diane Chamberlain's books for awhile now. I know they are popular at my library.

Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a great time.

  8. Sandpiper Island looks good.

I love Diane Chamberlain's books. I know it can't be anything but good.

    ENJOY your week.
