#Fitreaders' Check In 24th January 2015

#FitReaders is hosted by The Geeky Blogger and That's What I'm Talking About.

I am happy with my week past.
On Monday I took a rest day as I was feeling tired, and I think I will aim to take one rest day a week.
Every other day I walked 40 - 45 minutes.

I have gone just a little over my goal of 52 500 steps for a week - so on target!  Just been to buy some more tank tops, warm walking!!

Today I finished listening to Dark Witch by Nora Roberts and my next listen is going to be Ten Tiny Breaths by K. A. Tucker.  Heard so much about this book and the narration has been given the thumbs up so I am looking forward to it.

  1. Congratulations on making your target! Both of those books are on my list to read soon. I hope you enjoy Ten Tiny Breaths, I've also heard a lot of good things about this book so we'll see if we both like it. Have a great week!

  2. I started out thinking I would workout on the elliptical everyday, but decided it would be good to rest from it for a couple of days. Great job getting all of your steps in!

  4. Usually winter is my outdoor workout season since I live in FL but it's been so miserable and rainy I haven't gotten out much. Hopefully soon.

    Good job this week!

  6. I think those rest days are so important. It helps to reset you and keep you motivated - otherwise you burn out! Good job meeting your step goal every day!!! I'm back in training mode for my 1/2 marathon so I'll be doing at least one big walk each week with smaller walks on the other days. I just hope the weather cooperates - we're due to have a huge snow storm over the next few days with the possibility of 3 feet of snow!

  7. Rest days are needed. Ok so I did take a walk today but it relaxes my shoulders, other than that I rested :)
