The dry summer weather continues - I think this is our driest summer since early 1900's. Not good for the garden!

How Fussy Are You When It Comes to Library Books?
Take Control of your TBR Pile March 2015
Hosted by the Caffeinated Reviewer. I have been madly trying to read my review books so that March is almost free for this - still four or five review books I will need to fit in though.
Coming up
Thursday 26th Review and Giveaway for U.S. continental readers - One Wish by Robyn Carr.
Congrats on your steps goal! I am envious of your beautiful weather, but do hope you get the much needed rain. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nise. Your turn for great weather will come as the seasons change!
DeleteLaura Lippman is all over the place this week.
ReplyDeleteShe probably has a new book out, this one is real old!!!!
DeleteI envy your weather, even as I know dry is not good. At least not too dry. Hope that changes, and that your reading is good this week. We're mired deep in the clutches of wint, but it's close to March... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg. Ah yes! The weather! So long as it facilitates reading its all okay!
DeleteGlad you have warmth ! [though sorry for the drought]
ReplyDeleteGreat number of reading completes - good for you :)
Thanks. Yes retirement gives me a lot more time for reading. There are other things to be done but I just think - 'tomorrow'!
DeleteGlad you are doing well on your steps. I hope you will get some rain and cooler weather soon.
ReplyDeleteYou have many authors here that I enjoy too. You are ahead of me on the In Death series. Happy Reading!
Just a little ahead Martha. Loved this one because it took Roarke's story a little further - I got all weepy!!
DeleteI haven't read Laura Lippmann for a while, but she is a good author. You have some good reads this week. I am always finding new authors when I come to your site.
ReplyDeleteYes blog visiting is dangerous for the TBR shelves! Happens to me too.
DeleteYou could have done with a little of that recent rain we got in QLD. Well done on the step goals, 99% is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are killing it with reading and reviewing ... I'm glad to hear you liked the Jennifer Ashley one better, 2nd time around. Can you get straight on to the 2nd one? lol if you enjoy it, it'll be just the kick I need to pick it up ;) hope you enjoy The Road to Hope, it wasn't my favourite of hers but I still really liked it. Have a great week and happy reading :)
Yes heard about the QLD rain. We have had rain in NZ in last couple days and completely passed my region by. Yes should read the 2nd Jennifer Ashley now while I am in the frame of mind! I think its at the library actually. The Road to Hope - yes only 45% through it and have to say same as you. Just hasn't grabbed me like Jilted did.
DeleteI read Baltimore Blues a while ago and have every intention of going back and catching up on that series, too! Just haven't gotten around to it. I did enjoy it though! I also just finished reading The Girls of Mischief Bay - I enjoyed it - thought it was a good 1st book to a new series and am curious to see what direction this series will take. I have One Wish and First Time in Forever in my stacks to read soon. I love that we have similar reading tastes!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
I get many recommendations for reading from your blog Kristin, I love when I meet bloggers and we overlap in tastes with some books.
DeleteWell done on the steps and SO many books and authors there I also enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Deb
Thanks Deb.
DeleteI am trying to take control of my TBR pile/list and was cleaning it off last night. I so wish I had more time to read! Enjoy your books this week!
ReplyDeleteHa, just came from your post about wine and Goodreads. Loved it.
DeleteNice books for the week. I enjoyed Trust No One. Have a nice week--hope you get a break in the weather. I'd love to send you some of the snow we have here,,,lol.
ReplyDeleteStart blowing the snow my way Catherine!
DeleteLooks like you had a great exercise week! I've been wanting to read Nora Robert's The Witness for a long time, but haven't taken the time. I'm glad you enjoyed the two of her's you mentioned. I will look forward to your reviews.
ReplyDeleteThe Witness I did enjoy too Pat. I listened to the audio which was good and I usually find the audio sends the book to a higher level if the narration is good.
DeleteI loved Trust No One...and have Baltimore Blues on Sparky, and hope to read it soon. I am whittling away at my Kindle library.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
Good luck with whittling Sparky's library - I find mine a never ending story!
DeleteCan I send you some snow for your garden?? We've got plenty here to spare!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Yes Lindsey do please!
DeleteWe've had a couple of days of drizzling rain due to the cyclone that passed over QLD but it's the humidity that is killing me!
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week,
