Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading? Remembering Sheila and her family at this challenging time.
This week I have been a little distracted from my reading as I have taken on a WordPress steep learning curve over at Lorelle's WordPress School. Learning a lot, and I might add unlearning quite a considerable amount as well! It's a year long one, I'll see how far I go. It's a challenge I'll enjoy.
I attended a two year old's party on Saturday, had a fun time! Love hanging out with one and two year olds! Of course the gift I took for my grand niece was books!
I also enjoyed having a bit of play time with my grand nephew - 14mths - cousin to the birthday girl.
What I read last week:
What I am reading at present:
One Summer in Venice by Nicky Pellegrino
Listening to Blood Magick by Nora Roberts
Up next:
Sherryl Woods - Home in Carolina
Hide Your Heart - Tracey Alvarez
A bit of Nora Roberts / JD Robb there! I must admit I'm kinda intrigued by the Touchy-Feely Princess Book. Is it the book that's touchy feely or the princesss? (Hopefully the former!) ;-)

Hehe! I love children's books today, so many of them you can touch the feel of material and other surfaces. Good fun.
DeleteI love the children's titles. Glad you had fun at the BD party.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the In Death read. One Tiny Lie looks interesting.
Happy Reading!
Those look like some cute kid books. Looks like a good reading week for you.
ReplyDeleteThe kids books look very cute!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy but fun week ... cutest pic of your grand nephew, he obviously loves the swing! You have such good taste lol, I bought a touchy-feely-sound book for Mia when I was in the UK, best farm one I've seen in ages and she loves it. Last week I also picked up an old favourite Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy, love all her books ... I keep forgetting she's a NZ author.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading Kathryn and enjoy your week!
Yeah love Lynley Dodd's books, gave her Hairy Maclary last year! Of course in anticipation of her loving books. Those touchy feely books they love and sound ones too. Your UK one sounds fun.
DeleteAdorable photo and books. I bet it was a fun party! Good luck with WP school. I'm going over to checkout your link. have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable picture! And those books look cute, too! I love giving books as gifts, especially to little ones. Nothing better than sharing a love of reading - I never say 'no' to buying my daughter books whenever she asks me. Which may be a bad thing, but I justify it because it's books. Lol.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a really nice week! Hope you have another good one and happy reading!
Love giving books as presents. Cole got a few for Easter since he won't be eating candy for awhile yet. I want to get to One Tiny Lie soon. Have a great week.
