Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading? While this meme is not fully active at present I will be linking up as well to the Sunday Post at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Had a good week and met my goal of 46 200 steps. And so another month of walking ends and a new one begins. Such a good combination - readers like me need to exercise!
What I read last week:
What I am reading at present:
Reading Julia's Chocolates by Cathy Lamb
Still listening to: Safe Harbor by Luanne Rice
Up next:
Blueprints by Barbara Delinsky
Divided in Death by J. D. Robb
Know Your Heart by Tracey Alvarez
Know Your Heart by Tracey Alvarez
Posts from the last week:
- I'll Stand By You Sharon Sala
- Jericho Ginger Jamison
- The Marriage Season Linda Lael Miller
There will be a link up post a little later on for any reader/bloggers who want to join in the month in review - month wrap up.
I am reading The Guest Cottage right now. It's cute, but nothing to get too excited about. I won it on GR.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your steps goal! That's impressive! I've been wanting to read The Guest Cottage. Thayer in general is on my TBR but this one looks especially intriguing. Have a Great week!
ReplyDeleteThe Guest Cottage and The LAke Season both look like fine summer reads.
ReplyDeleteYou did a fine job with the steps ! I love the Nalini Singh Psy-changeling series, she's such a great author, such human warmth in those shifters and apparently cold Psys :) Have a great week !
ReplyDeleteMaliki Singh is an author I have wanted to check out for a while. Her Pay-Changeling series sounds good. Have a great reading week :)
ReplyDeleteVery keen to hear what you thought of The Lake Season. The cover is very alluring!
ReplyDeleteDeb
You've read and/or are reading some really nice titles that are going to make my wish list even longer.
ReplyDeleteMy recap: http://www.bookclublibrarian.com/2015/05/weekly-book-recap-105.html
I have an ARC of Shards of Hope, but haven't gotten to it. I have been listening to Nalini's ROCK KISS series though. My post is: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2015/05/sunday-crab.html
ReplyDeleteThe Lake Season looks like my kind of read and I've read Lamb and Rice before with good results (just realized that sounds like a dinner, lol!) Enjoy your week. I've never read Singh, been tempted but thought it might be too out there for my tastes. Curious what you thought of her writing. Enjoy your week, and congrats on the steps! I haven't been upgrading mine as quickly as I would like, since I nap almost every day due to getting up 3 hours earlier several times a week, ugh. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteNalini Singh writes really well Rita, and this series is a great one to start reading paranormal, but it is fantasy!
DeleteI loved The Lake Season and The Guest Cottage...and Blueprints. Hope you enjoy them all...and your lovely new haul!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
Oh, I think I just fell into the eyes of that cover model on Shards of Hope.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Way to go on your steps. I should do this. And it looks like some of your books would be a good fit for my summer reading list. Happy reading:)
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/05/31/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-111-and-the-sunday-post/
I'm hoping to get to The Guest Cottage next week but I've been reading like a snail the last few weeks. Arghh every time I see you with a new Nalini Singh you remind me I have to get back to the psy-changeling series. There's just too many great books and not enough time lol. Looking forward to your thoughts on The Lake Season. Way to go with your steps and here's to another month with fitreaders :)
ReplyDeleteYes I just got on a roll with the psy/changeling series and grew to love them. I think it is the series where the paranormals are more like humans, so I cope!! There are too many great books out there vying for attention, I know I have a fantasy series you recommended that I want to read but I think when things open up a bit. I am going to cut back on review books as the year goes on and try and read those books on the edge of awareness!
DeleteAnother Cathy Lamb, I hope you are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,

Great week of reading and getting in steps!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on meeting your step goal! Looking forward to another fun month!
ReplyDeleteThe Lake Season and The Guest Cottage both look really good!! I need some books right now that remind that summer will actually show up one of these days! (I hope)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the steps! I've started listening to audiobooks while I work out so it helps make the time go by and with meeting my reading goals. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt has been such a long time since I've read Delinsky. Yay on meeting your step goal. I forgot to post an update.
