It's Monday! What Are you Reading? 15th August 2016

badge

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit – join them!

Hope you all had a good week, it went by again so fast!

  1. I've read some of Beth Harbison's books in the past but I'm not familiar with this new one. Beach Colors sounds like a nice story, perfect for summer reading. Hope you have a great week!

  5. The Beekeeper's Secret looks fun. I haven't read that author, either. I hope you enjoy it! I haven't read J.D. Robb in so long and once loved those books. They're always pretty good.

  10. Looks like you had a good reading week. How is the quilt coming along. I am still trying to get caught up to my self imposed goal. I am reading, Dead and Buried by Leighann Dobbs( it's a cozy mystery) and listening to The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens and this weekend while on a road trip, Mr Busy and I listed to The Escape by David Baldacci. We are almost finished with that one, will finish our listen at home today. Have a great week Kathryn.

    1. Judy your books sound like they would keep you guessing and nice to be listening to one with you hubby. I have finished my animal quilt and hope to deliver it along with another to a couple of special grandies. I have had heaps of quilting trials! The beginner getting in over her head but I am determined!! Will put a photo up next week of completed ones.

  19. I read and just posted a review on http://powerfulwomenreaders.wordpress.com the story of the childhood friendship of Truman Capote and Harper Lee. It is a fictionalized but probably a pretty close to accurate account of their adventures in Monroeville, Alabama during the Great Depression. Title=TRU AND NELLE Author=G. Neri 2016 publication It was a darned good read I accomplished in a weekend.
