It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
Hello to you all. Hope you are all managing to deal with the weather in your part of the world and manage to get in some great reading!
What I read last week:
A review memoir that I enjoyed.
A romantic suspense from my actual TBR pile - also enjoyed.
What I am reading at present:
Reading a new buy - just felt like I needed a Catherine Anderson book - which also happens to be her most recent.
And I am still listening to A Grown Up Kind of Pretty by J Jackson.
It was nice to experience a bit of a thaw last week. Love Katie Ruggle's books. Looking forward to getting back to Mystic Creek.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books! I got Promise Not to Tell Last week...can't wait to read it. Thanks for sharing...and for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a nice start to the week! Spring Forward looks nice. :)
ReplyDeleteWe just had grey skies all week. It's a big muggy today as rain may come next week but not until Thursday supposedly. The Upside looks like an interesting memoir. My post won't publish until PST 8 a.m.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed The Upside. I look forward to seeing the movie this spring.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteI’m planning to try Katie Ruggle’s Books. Have heard great things about her books. Enjoy your new books and have a wonderful week. 😁❤️
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying your reading! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I've read anything by Catherine Anderson, so I might look into this one!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! The Upside looks really good, Kathryn! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I hope you have a great week and thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI have Promise Not to Tell waiting for me to read. It looks good. I haven't read one of her books in a long time. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWeather for us has been upside-down from one extreme to the other, oh well. I enjoy most of those authors that you mentioned, above :)
ReplyDeleteI read the first in that Anderson series, Mystic Creek, and would like to revisit her small town, and currently have the first in the Bouchet series on my kindle, and the also previous Krentz book. I should give Ruggle a try based on positive reviews. I like to be eclectic-- looks like you do, too!
Weather does seem to be the topic of choice these days besides books. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are still in the deep freeze, but it too will pass.
Good week for you....ENJOY this reading week.
Elizabeth
The weather isn't horrible here. It's way colder than normal, but I'm lucky to live where it's generally warm. I hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWe have an Extreme Windchill Warning here today: -40 degrees Celsius! Definitely will be indoor recess today for the kids. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI really must try Jayne Ann Krentz. I think I'd enjoy her books!
DeleteLooks like a good reading week for you! I enjoy memoirs, and that looks like a good one - the cover looks like it is very uplifting.
ReplyDeleteCold and gray here this morning, so I am envying your summer weather!
Enjoy the weather and your books this week -
Sue
Book By Book
I'll have to look into Catherine Anderson's books!
ReplyDeleteA great week coming up
ReplyDeleteI wish I wanted to read memoir...I probably could make myself but there are far too many other books out there!
ReplyDeleteGreat week Kathryn I'm starting my April reviews. I just wish the weather was like April too LOL
ReplyDeleteThe memoir sounds inspirational. I read the "About the Author" and was happy to find that most everybody makes it out of the story alive. I will find time to read "The Upside" in 2018.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your reads and hosting the Book Date....The Upside is intriguing!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Promise Not to Tell and Katie Ruggle is high up on my TBR. I've heard great things about her romantic suspense and I've been kind of craving that lately. The Catherine Andersen has the best cover! Can't wait to see what you think. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh Promise Not to Tell was good. I need to check out Ruggle. Anderson is a new one to me and I definitely want to read more from her. I enjoyed the last one. Happy reading!
