It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

badge

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit – join them!

Hope you all had a good reading week and otherwise as well. Our summer continues to be hot, I feel a little dozy as I write this!

My TV decoder box went on the blink very suddenly on Friday evening in the middle of a show I was enjoying so Monday afternoon I will have a technician here to return me to normality. In the meantime there is always Netflix!

What I read last week:

I had a reasonably good week of reading and was especially charmed by Jennifer Ashley's Death Below Stairs.  I will certainly look forward to where she might take this series and I so want to know more about the mysterious Daniel.

What I am reading at present:

After being the first reader to read Death Below Stairs from a local library I then received a message to say Blood Fury was available for me. While I'm not the first for this one, it is still a gorgeous, hardback, near new - so I decided to dive right in this one next.

I am still listening to The Denim Blue Sea by Joanne DeMaio - I need to get a bit more of a move on into it.

Up next:

A review book is next up, and I am always happy to read a Jodi Thomas book so I look forward to it.
