Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
In the last week I started back to work but still fitted in some reading - not much housework!
First of a new series: Review later.
#11 in the series - excellent.
#5 in the Thunder Point series. Review later.
I actually didn't mean to read The Promise - not yet! I didn't consult my calendar so will read the book I had paced myself to read later this week.
I have just started to read:
The Autumn Bride by Anne Gracie.
Up next:
Dreamweaver Trail by Emily March. #8 in her Eternity Springs novels. Love this series. The one I meant to read instead of The Promise.
I don't like reading ebook after ebook - I still am partial to the actual book in hand, so I try to alternate between the two.
Looking forward to your thoughts on Autumn Bride. I met Anne Gracie at ARRC last year, she's an absolute hoot! I find an audiobook makes housework more tolerable lol, do you listen then or just while walking?
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading :)
I listen mainly while walking. I find if I do it during housework my mind wanders. Also I need just head space where my head can go anywhere! So housework is good for that. Will be reading The Autumn Bride with interest. I would so love to go to Australia at some point for a book something. Maybe next year.
DeleteARRC is on again March 2015, in Canberra. Not quite as convenient for me but I'd love to go. I can highly recommend that book event Kathryn :)
DeleteI have never been to Canberra. I will certainly keep an eye out for it next year.
DeleteOhhhh, I love the Thunder Point series. Can't wait for that one!! I hope you love it!

DeleteYes I did enjoy this one, moved slowly at beginning but conflict heated up and I did love it.
It's nice to have at least one e-book and one real book, I think.
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday!
I'm trying Bout Of Books readalong this week so I am hoping that I'll manage to read four books.
ReplyDeleteI'll be reading both The Marriage Pact and The Promise soon. I'm excited to read both.
ReplyDeleteI get what you mean about reading e-book after e-book. I try not to read too many e-books in a row, unless I'm on vacation, but sometimes it just happens due to the way the books are scheduled.
Have a great week!

Wow! Great books. I love Linda Lael Miller and J. D. Robb. Come see my Monday Report. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to read Linda Lael Miller...her books look tempting. Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI think I am partial to a book in hand too! I will usually sandwich an e-book in between two paper books.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and I hope you enjoy your books!
I've only recently started reading ebooks and they're nice, but I do need to have a book in my hand too. So I definetly need to alternate between the two as well... :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead!
Housework can wait Kathryn!

I've had the newest "In Death" book sitting for too long on my shelf! Looking forward to the new Linda Lael Miller series. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like The Autumn Bride, it sounds like a good one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my It's Monday Post :)
