Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
What am I reading? Well not a lot really, I have been reading a book all week and just couldn't really drum up the enthusiasm - not sure if it was me or the book. Probably a little of both. I have spent a lot of time thinking about learning patch work and quilting and have been viewing videos and looking at sites instead of reading!
Managed four days of 30 minute walks. Not quite as good as usual. A few very wet and windy days just didn't invite.
What I did read!
I won't be reviewing this book. It was okay, a 3.5. I wanted to like it more, was well written and funny occasionally, but the plot was middle of the road.
I finished listening to the audio of Material Girl by Julia London. Enjoyed it. Review later.
What I am reading now:
Goodnight June by Sarah Jio
What I just started listening to:
The Duchess War by Courtney Milan
Up next:
The Glass Kitchen by Linda Francis Lee
I'm reading Goodnight June right now, not far in but I'm enjoying it. I've heard good things about The Glass Kitchen too. 4 days of walking is a great effort, hope you get a return to nice weather. We've had an unseasonably warm week so I have no excuses lol.
ReplyDeleteMy MIL is a talented quilter and she's encouraging me to take it up. I can't seem to fit in blogging, reading, exercise, scrapbooking, photography so not to sure about adding another 'thing' to the mix as much as I think it's gorgeous! Looking forward to pics if you do take it up :)
Yay for getting out there 4 days last week! Hope you enjoy all your reads this week too :-)

Ooh, Material Girl looks tempting! And I can't wait to get Goodnight June. Enjoy your reading...and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's always sad when you read a book that was sort of ok, not terrible but not amazing either and you just don't know what to do with it! The Duchess War sounds very interesting! And I always think that the most important thing about going out for walks is that they are enjoyable! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you enjoy all of them!
