Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Thank you to Sheila for hosting this meme, which always adds books to my TBR wishlist!
I am holiday this week, I was so happy to finish the school term, went down with a cold and a parent was beginning to irritate me, so happily a holiday.
Just two days of walking this week, then decided to rest as had a cold and just felt needed a break. Back into it this week I think.
Books I finished in the last week:
Part of Icicle Falls series
Audiobook. :)
Another excellent book (#12) in the series
At present I am reading:
Written in My Own Heart's Blood by Diana Gabaldon #8 in series. At about the page 600 mark with 200 to go.
I have just started listening to:
A Man to Hold on To by Marilyn Pappano #2 in series
What might be next:
In Her Dreams by Katherine Givens
After that I am so not sure! I will just take something I feel like from the TBR pile.
I hope you are enjoying the new Diana Gabaldon. I am so behind in the Outlander series.
ReplyDeleteLoved it, such fantastic writing.

ReplyDeleteYes, love a happy week of reading! Thanks Rita.
DeleteEveryone seems to have a cold....me included. Ruins the day.
ReplyDeleteThe Tea Shop on Lavender Lane looks so cozy and summery.
No Place Like Home looks good too.
I have never read a book by J. D. Robb.
THANKS for stopping by my blog earlier. It is always nice to wake up and see a comment from you.
ENJOY your reading week.
Elizabeth
Thanks Elizabeth. It works well really being in different time zones by many hours - the same happens for me too at this end!
DeleteThe Tea Shop on Lavender Lane looks so good. Every time I see it, I am reminded that I want to see it!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better!

~Kristin @ Always With a Book
Thanks Kristin, I think you have enjoyed this series more than myself, I've found it a pleasant read but not a wow read.
DeleteNice selection of books. Happy reading and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteYay for holidays. Glad you're over the flu and can make the most of reading, walking and enjoying your break. I'm so tempted to continue on with Written in My Own Heart's Blood, I have the audio and print copy, is it a faster read? As much as I love the series, I did find An Echo in the Bone slow going. Will keep an eye out for your thoughts on No Place Like Home, need more audio recommendations lol
ReplyDeleteI loved Written in My Own Heart's Blood, read it in about 4 days once I got going. I will get the audio too, and will listen to it later on. I have so many audio's waiting for me, I am a slow listener!
DeleteI'm glad you are getting holiday and I hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDelete#12 is my next In Death read - after several review audios. :-)
No Place Like Home looks charming. I hope you enjoy your reading this week.
Thank you Martha, I did notice you are just behind me, and may overtake me! But one day I will get through the series!
