Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Well February finishes and I am one month into retirement! Retirement - still trying to feel my way into it, I have all these jobs to do, keep thinking I should write a list, but instead I sit and read. I guess I will need to get into things soon. Really they are not jobs for me, I just need to organise them by phoning! I did go and get booster shots for tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough. So that's one thing off that list!
What I read last week:
Liked it.
Another good instalment in the Wyatsville series.
Interesting debut novel.
Audiobook enjoyed.
Fantasy
NZ author Emily Gee
What I am reading at present:
Just started listening to Angel Mine by Sherryl Woods
Reading - The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas
Up next:
The Last Time I Was Me by Cathy Lamb
Posts from the last week:
One Wish Robyn Carr Giveaway for continental U.S. still open
I always enjoy Jayne Ann Krentz, but I'm not a fan of the books she writes as Jayne Castle.
ReplyDeleteYes these ones of hers I like most, have read some Amanda Quick ones but not the Jayne Castle ones as far as I remember, they're the paranormal I think.
DeleteGreat work on your reading last week!
ReplyDeleteMissie @ A Flurry of Ponderings
Thanks Missie.
DeleteYes, Jayne Ann Krentz writes paranormal as Jayne Castle. I have some newer ones to read although I found some of the older ones just so-so. I have always liked her romantic suspense.
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice selection of titles that sound like good reading/listening. I hope this is a good week for you!
Thanks Martha. I actually want to try a Jayne Castle paranormal - I think it has dust bunnies in it. Think that is the right author for that, will need to check.
DeleteRead to your hearts content I say, jobs will still be waiting ;) I've got a couple of Cathy Lamb books on my bookshelf I've been meaning to read, If You Could See What I See is one of them. Is that a new one? I'm looking forward to your review of The Road to Hope. Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteSo right! One of my friends said just sit back and enjoy! If You Could See What I See is 2013 so fairly recent. I have a few of hers now on my actual TBR, went mad after reading If You Could See What I See and bought a few of hers. Was led to her by Shellyrae!
DeleteRead lots and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried a Cathy Lamb book in a long time. I hope you like it!
Great reading and listening week there, Hope this week is more of the same.
ReplyDeleteI loved Trust No One...and hope to read Jubilee's Journey at some point. Thanks for sharing, and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI like the Krentz books as well - less of the romance / paranormal and more suspense!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're still powering through the JD Robb's!!!
Deb
