It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

badge

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit – join them!

It's been a quiet week for me, some reading and gardening (although not nearly enough gardening!).
Watched some sport over the weekend.  Nothing wrong with quiet!

  1. The Secret of Everything looks good. I read Flight Lessons years ago - before I was reviewing. As I recall I liked it even though it is relationship drama which is not my fav genre.
I hope you have another good week reading and gardening.

  2. I've got two of your books and looking forward to both of them = Beatriz Williams books are so good. Enjoy all your reads.

  3. I guess I can work out what sport you watched over the weekend? I have to admit I really didn't care and didn't see any of the world cup. I was once into sport, but not for a long time now!

And I'm kinda depressed to see Christmas books already but guess that's inevitable! Argh!

    1. Ah yes! I didn't watch it live but watched later in the day! You have to have some interest in rugby here or you just get left for dust! My love is cricket but we are not nearly as good at that as rugby!
I just read what I see, not particularly because it's two months away from Christmas. Likely to read none around that time!

  4. Wishing you more gardening time and I hope you like The Language of Flowers as much as I did. I've got The Secret of Everything on my list.

  5. Hope more gardening time comes your way. We just picked up leaves and pulled out all the annuals. Glad the Nora Roberts trilogy got off to a great start. I have yet to read the Cousin O'Dwyer trilogy. Have a great week.

  8. I don't know where that place is on the cover of Along the Infinite Sea, but I want to be there! I've finally backed up my hard drive so now I'm cleaning up all the photos I've had saved on it forever. That means a lot of trips down memory lane. My husband and I have vacation fever now, even though we just got back! Enjoy your week!

I haven't read any of the authors you've got listed here, but I've got several Nora Roberts books on my TBR list. Hope to get to at least one of them very soon. Thanks for hosting, and happy reading this week!

  28. I'm not a rugby fan, but I always enjoy watching the All Blacks do the haka.

I'm also in my first year of retirement and enjoying more reading and gardening too. Love it that I can read all night if the mood takes me and not have to go to work feeling like death warmed up!

Beatriz Williams is a very popular author judging by the comments. The Secret Life of Violet Grant has been sitting in my reading pile for a while. It may be time to bump it up the list.

    Enjoy your week.
