Sheila at Book Journey runs It's Monday! What Are You Reading? While this  meme is not fully active at present I will be linking up as well to the Sunday Post at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I met my goal for the week, it's great to have a goal of so many steps as I endeavour to meet it where possible.
Delighted to hear I was the April winner of at Jen's blog, thank you for the lovely prize.  Even though the reward is getting out there at exercising, it's very nice to receive extra kudos! Thanks Jen.

They are historical and are set in nineteenth century New Zealand. Giveaway open for signed copy of The Settling Earth, book longlisted for Edge Hill Award. The Settling Earth Giveaway  I reviewed it last year if you want to check out what it is about. The Settling Earth review.

  1. I haven't read Bitter Greens but I really really need to. I've heard such wonderful things about it.

And I know I keep saying 'one day' but one day I'm going to join the #FitReaders challenge.

  2. The Perfect Son is on my list...and I am curious about Bitter Greens.

I always love a Mary Kay Andrews book, so I must read Spring Fever...I keep seeing it at the bookstore, but I plan to download it....enjoy your books! Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. Spring Fever has such a bright summery cover. The Theresa Rizzo book sounds very thought provoking, nice review of that. Such a tough issue.

  4. I have Bitter Greens on my kindle but haven't read it. Perhaps this month would be a good time to give it a try. Congrats on your win and your FitBit progress. I hope you enjoyed The Flower Arrangement. Have a nice week, Kathryn.

  5. You've got some great books! I really want to try Mary Kay Andrews and The Flower Arrangement. I have Bitter Greens but some some reason haven't read it yet. It looks really great though. Have a great week!

  6. Some great books there, hope you enjoy them all!

    Have a good week!

  7. Looks like you had a good reading week. Congrats on winning!!

  8. I'd forgotten about Bitter Greens! I need to read it. I just finished Heart's Blood by Juliet Marillier, a re-telling of Beauty & the Beast. I loved it! Enjoy your week!

  9. Great week you had! Here's my Sunday Post: http://rabbitearsbookblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-sunday-post-meme-26.html

  10. Congratulations on winning a prize for FitReaders! I started out participating at the beginning of the year but kind of dropped out. I haven't been motivated to exercise though I really need to.

I loved Spring Fever. It's one of my favorite Mary Kay Andrews books. I'll have to give the audio version a try sometime. A Hundred Summers is also on my TBR list. I hope you are enjoying it!

  11. Oh I hope you love Bitter Greens as much as I did. I'm looking forward to The Color of Light too, it feels like ages since the last book. I've got A Hundred Summers on audio too ... good picks ;)

Congrats on nailing your step goals and yay for being the April winner! I'm back in for July, I think reporting in is quite addictive lol which is good because it keeps me moving.

Have a wonderful week and happy reading!

  12. Congrats on your win and meeting your fitness goals! I've read great reviews for Bitter Greens. Have a great week.

  13. I need to read Bitter Greens! I've heard great things about it. Congrats on your win!!

  14. Glad that Fitreaders is working out so well for you (and that you won - winning is always a fun extra bonus!). Sounds like the whole thing has been really motivating!
