On Saturday went by train to Wellington, caught the ferry across the harbour, had a delicious lunch, went for a walk up in the hilly bush and returned home. A wonderful way to spend a day in great company to celebrate another birthday flying by! Ouch!

I reached my goal and went over it this week. Walking on Saturday helped out. I also have now walked the length of New Zealand according to my Fitbit stats! Won't share how long that has taken!

I completed my goal of 48 300 steps for the week with one day to spare.  As Saturday was a busy day for me that was a plus.  

This month I have been following Bobbi Dumas Read a Romance month. Each day it has three authors who have a post and a giveaway, mostly for the USA but some International. Authors coming up in the following week.

If you are a romance reader I hope you are not missing out on this great array of authors.

#Fit Readers and Weekly Wrap Up

Well some days are still winterish here in NZ with snow around and yet there is a definite promise of spring to come with some of the plants in the vegie garden starting to show growth after a few months of none. But it also means having to get out and mow the lawn again!

I've sort of been hibernating - reading, walking and I finished a 1000 jigsaw which I do in spurts. I think I started this way back in summer!  Now I am about to start one called The Bookshop!

I managed to part with 80+ books to put into the fundraising Book Fair we have here in October. Guess who will be attending though!

                                                           

I had a good week and went a little over my goal of 48200 steps for the week. Can't hurt me!

Squeaked in and achieved my 48 300 steps for the week. On the whole the weather was good and pleasant to be out in.

Well my gran niece turned up this week, just when they weren't expecting it.  A quick birth just reaching the hospital in time.  Older brother, all of 19mths took a look at her and said, "Oh No!" Mind you that was at 4am in the morning!

Last week I read Elizabeth's post over at Thoughts From an Evil Overlord on Bookish Decor.  That set me off spending a few hours chasing down bookish things to drool over.  I see Fine Arts America now does throw pillows, duvet covers  and tote bags from some of its art. Hmm, I have a few of their bookish prints on my wall, but now I am thinking of something more. You see how easily I am led!

This Sunday afternoon I just spent awhile listening in to the live RWA 2015 award ceremony on Saturday evening in New York.  Fun to watch and see and listen in to a few known authors to me, and a lot not!  Nice to see J. D. Robb  win the Romantic Suspense. Woo hoo for Jill Shalvis One in a Million (still need to read it!)  And then.... the live feed died! And relived a little way along. My word Lisa Kleypas is a great hostess.

The Liar - audiobook. Enjoyable as Nora Roberts is always.

The Bourbon Kings - Juicy soap drama and I'm in waiting for the next one!

Three Weeks With Lady X - great historical romance, well plotted and great characters.

Heavenly Hirani's School of Laughing Yoga - I know a mouthful! Enjoyable and quirky.

I think it will be The Spring Bride by Anne Gracie, really enjoy her fun historical romance series. So will help me to read out July. Seems to have been a week of romance reading. And then it will be August!

I met my goal for the week, it's great to have a goal of so many steps as I endeavour to meet it where possible.

Delighted to hear I was the April winner of at Jen's blog, thank you for the lovely prize.  Even though the reward is getting out there at exercising, it's very nice to receive extra kudos! Thanks Jen.
